About

Hi! My name’s Sana.

Welcome to my blog.

I’m not an expert at anything, but I have spent the last three years as a stay at home Mum trying to start a freelance writing career. Before that I worked as a communications adviser for around a decade.

I write, real time, about managing home, work and wellbeing whilst navigating the highs and lows of post partum life.

Being able to stay at home with my son is a luxury and a blessing, but it hasn’t been without its challenges.

Self-care went out the window, but it’s slowly making its way back through the door.

The transition from financial independence to dependence was tricky, but I’m finding ways to live well on less.

Changing relationship dynamics forced me to take a long, hard look inside and start the process of getting to know me again.

Throw in weight gain and an unexpected and extensive bout of eczema and that pretty much sums up my post partum life. Does it sound familiar? Maybe you went through a lot of this too.

I like finding and sharing fuss-free ways to ‘do life’. I’m a minimalist and like to keep things simple.  Whether it’s 10 minute, equipment free workouts to do in my bedroom,  easy to set up and clear away kids activities, recipes that can be repurposed into more than one meal or low stress cleaning organisation hacks.

This is an experiment and I’m figuring this out as I go along. On this blog, I share real time insights on what’s working for me and also - what’s not. I hope both will be helpful.

I hope you find something on here that benefits you. If you know of someone who would find it useful too, please share.

Thanks for stopping by.

Best wishes
Sana
